Job Requirements
- Must be 21 or older
- able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
- able to pass background investigation
- obtain and maintain gaming license
- able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds regularly
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of experience in coordinating catering or banquet events in a resort environment
- ServSafe certification
- familiarity with technology related to catering and conference services operations
- excellent interpersonal skills
- strong guest service orientation
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- analytical and problem-solving abilities
- ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- knowledge of food and beverage industry practices and safety standards
- proficiency in business computer applications including Word, Excel, Access, and presentation software
- ability to read and interpret operational and financial reports
Job Duties
- Coordinate event logistics and collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution
- meet with clients to understand catering needs, event vision, budget, and preferences
- work with chefs and kitchen staff to align menu offerings with event goals
- maintain vendor relationships for rentals and event-related services
- oversee event setup, including food and beverage stations, décor, and guest flow
- monitor event timelines and ensure smooth service throughout each event
- attend weekly BEO meetings to confirm event details and service expectations
- update and manage Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and share changes promptly
- gather post-event feedback and assist in action plans for service improvement
- communicate effectively with directors, managers, and team members to ensure full alignment
- maintain punctuality, cleanliness, and safety in work areas
- promote positive guest relations and a cooperative working climate
- perform special projects and other assigned responsibilities
- take, place, and prepare catering orders
- respond to issues with urgency
- report accidents and injuries timely
- deliver consistent quality in planning and execution of events
