Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • previous experience as a casino cashier preferred
  • basic computer/POS knowledge preferred
  • working knowledge of 10-key machine and computer equipment
  • accurate money handling skills
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
  • must be able to obtain a gaming registration card
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays

Job Duties

  • work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service
  • serve each customer courteously, quickly and efficiently with a sincere, positive, pleasant and enthusiastic attitude
  • embody a professional demeanor and a high level of character, honesty and integrity in conducting the business affairs of the restaurant
  • inspire all team members to do the same
  • cash all types of checks for guests within the specified guidelines and record all checks cashed in the specified computer system
  • conduct both Marker and Front Money transactions on guest accounts
  • redeem chips/tokens, TITO (ticket in ticket out) and Race and Sports tickets for guests
  • redeem all acceptable types of foreign currencies
  • process transactions of customers on a point-of-sale (POS) register
  • receive and maintain proper cash accountability in cash drawer for shift
  • check out the drawer and prepare the shift report properly
  • balance bank at end of shift
  • resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
  • establish strong communication and rapport with leaders and co-workers
  • perform other job-related duties as assigned
