Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience as a casino cashier
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with business contacts
  • Proficient with 10-key machine and computer equipment
  • Accurate money handling skills
  • Ability to obtain a gaming registration card
  • Physical ability to perform job tasks with or without accommodation

Job Duties

  • Provide quality service to each guest in a courteous and efficient manner while always displaying a pleasant enthusiastic attitude
  • Embody a professional demeanor and a high level of character, honesty and integrity in conducting the business affairs of the restaurant
  • Inspire all team members to do the same
  • Cash all types of checks for guests within the specified guidelines
  • Record all checks cashed in the specified computer system
  • Conduct both Marker and Front Money transactions on guest accounts
  • Redeem chips/tokens, TITO (ticket in ticket out) and Race and Sports tickets for guests
  • Redeem all acceptable types of foreign currencies
  • Receive and maintain proper cash accountability in cash drawer for shift
  • Check out the drawer and prepare the shift report properly
  • Balance bank at end of shift
  • Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
