The role of a Casino Bartender at MGM Resorts is an exciting opportunity to be part of the dynamic action on the casino floor. Job Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age
two years of bartending experience in a bar or similar environment is preferred
knowledge of beverage recipes, preparation methods, and bar tools
capacity to handle cash and POS transactions accurately
ability to maintain cleanliness and order in the bar area
availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age
knowledgeable of menu items, including mixture and serving beverages, standard beverage recipes, preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies and equipment
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Job Duties

Make and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standardized recipes
maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar equipment, tools, and work areas
manage bar inventory, ensuring stock levels meet internal controls and requesting products as needed
ring up beverages, collect payments, and follow cash handling procedures while preparing daily reports
provide training and mentoring for apprentice bartenders and bar porters
address guest complaints within your authority, referring complex issues to management as necessary
