Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Passion for quality, safety, and sanitation
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Friendly attitude and team player
  • Ability to make decisions independently
  • Proactive and urgent demeanor
  • Ability to stand for up to 6 hours
  • Ability to move around the café
  • Ability to lift and handle up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to position self to reach shelves and cabinets

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior cashier or customer service experience beneficial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
  • Proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus

Job Duties

  • Complete transactions by scanning items and processing payments
  • Maintain cash drawer security and balance according to policy
  • Provide excellent guest service by responding to requests and product knowledge
  • Stock bakery, refrigerated, and impulse items
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and dining room
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient café operations
  • Resolve problems promptly and inform management of any issues
