Daily, periodic, and occasional duties encompass a variety of tasks that keep the store running smoothly, from greeting customers and operating the cash register to cleaning gasoline pumps and assisting at other store locations when needed. The role demands flexibility with work schedules, including availability for varied shifts and weekends, and readiness to work extended hours as assigned. Strong attention to detail, mathematical ability for cash handling, and effective communication skills are essential.
Working conditions involve both indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes under varying weather conditions. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- None required experience
- Ability to provide TB clearance
- Flexible availability to work varied shifts including days, nights, swings and graveyard
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of merchandise cartons
- Sunday - Saturday availability
- Attention to detail, concentration, alertness, and mathematical skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successfully completes Sales Associates Training Class (BSAT)
- Ability to provide prompt, friendly and quality customer service
- Ability to perform stock/inventory duties
- Ability to perform assigned housekeeping duties
- Mathematical ability for proper cash handling
- On the job training provided by the Manager and Assistant Manager
Job Duties
- Provides quality customer service by greeting each customer in a prompt and timely manner
- Performs cashiering duties according to the AIM Cash Policy
- Follows Techniques of Alcohol Management (TAM) policies/procedures
- Follows Tobacco Sale policies/procedures
- Follows security and safety policies/procedures
- Checks in new merchandise in a timely manner
- Performs stocking and pricing duties
- Maintains a clean store environment by performing housekeeping duties
- Follows health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation
