The company prides itself on creating an extraordinary environment where employees are encouraged to enjoy their jobs while caring for each other and maintaining ethical standards that honor their commitments to customers and business partners. As a service-driven organization, Aloha fosters a strong sense of community and support among its employees, ensuring that collaboration and respect are at the forefront of every workplace interaction. This foundational ethos aligns closely with the company name and the traditions it represents. Aloha offers competitive base pay with additional incentives such as a cash sign-on bonus, comprehensive health coverage, tuition reimbursement, and two weeks of vacation after completing one year of service. These benefits underline the company’s dedication to supporting and rewarding its workforce appropriately.

The role of Sales Associate at Aloha is pivotal in delivering top-tier customer service and ensuring operational excellence within the store environment. The primary purpose of this position is to provide quality customer service by promptly greeting customers with friendliness and courtesy, handling cashiering duties with accuracy and adherence to company policies, and performing a range of housekeeping and merchandise stocking responsibilities. This role requires a committed professional who is attentive to detail, capable of multitasking, and dedicated to maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe store environment. Successful candidates will follow strict adherence to alcohol management techniques, tobacco sale regulations, health and safety rules, and store security policies. The Sales Associate is also responsible for timely processing of new merchandise, pricing tasks, and ensuring all store operations comply with company standards.

This position may accommodate full-time, part-time, or casual employment, with varying hours ranging from less than 20 hours per week to over 35 hours weekly, necessitating flexible availability including weekends and different shift schedules such as day, night, swing, or graveyard shifts. The role involves a mixture of indoor work under regular store conditions and some outdoor tasks subject to weather conditions. It also requires the use of equipment such as cash registers, coffee makers, gas consoles, ovens, fryers, microwaves, and cleaning supplies.

The Sales Associate will engage routinely in customer interaction, requiring excellent communication skills and a pleasant demeanor to meet customer needs efficiently. Physical demands include standing for extended periods, lifting and moving merchandise up to 50 pounds, climbing, stooping, and implementing safety practices. On the mental side, the position demands constant attention to detail, concentration, alertness, and mathematical skills necessary for proper cash handling and inventory management. Aloha provides comprehensive training through the Sales Associates Training Class (BSAT) and on-the-job training from managerial staff to ensure new hires are well prepared for their roles. The ultimate goal for the Sales Associate is to uphold Aloha’s high standards of service, contributing positively to the company’s storied reputation and growth.
