Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older in certain states and 21 in others
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and second shift hours from 2 PM to midnight
- Willingness to work hard and stay on feet for most of the shift
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Effective English communication skills
- Basic mathematic proficiency
- Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check

- Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older in specified states and 21 in others
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as a second-shift associate from afternoon to midnight
- Good communication skills in English including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Physical ability to frequently lift 10 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Personable and positive attitude with a knack for welcoming customers
- Detail-oriented with strong observational skills
- Reliable and responsible work ethic
- Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced retail environment
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Greet every customer with a smile and run the register with accuracy and speed
- Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales ensuring compliance with age verification and legal requirements
- Offer friendly service and upsell customers when possible to increase sales
- Keep the inside and outside of the store clean and safe including deep cleaning restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, picking up litter and trash, and taking out the trash
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise fresh and full
- Maintain a clean and organized store by sweeping, mopping, cleaning windows, and maintaining entryways
- Willingly cross-train in other departments including deli as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Be a team player and step in to help wherever needed
