Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to remain standing for long periods
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
- Capability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders or similar equipment
- Ability to work in both climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled environments
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal employment requirements
Job Qualifications
- Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to engage with customers and provide solutions
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Understanding of omni-channel retail processes beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow established policies and procedures
- Willingness to learn cross-functional skills like custom framing
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and early mornings
Job Duties
- Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
- Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience
- Execute cash handling to standards
- Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
- Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
- Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
- Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the merchandise return/go back process and general store recovery
- Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance
- Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner and project a positive image
- Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
- Other duties as assigned
