Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to attend and complete Short Food Course I
  • Able to communicate information and ideas orally and in writing
  • Able to prioritize, organize and accomplish assigned work
  • Able to work independently and as a team
  • Able to recognize problems and resolve them
  • Able to take direction courteously and helpfully
  • Able to learn operation of food service equipment
  • Awareness of district policies and requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in school food service operations preferred but not required
  • Completion of Short Food Course I offered by Department of Education required
  • Knowledge of basic school food service and sanitation preferred
  • Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Able to prioritize and organize work
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to recognize problems and take appropriate actions
  • Ability to learn operation of food service equipment
  • Aware of district policies and requirements
