Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Ability to attend and complete Short Food Course I
Able to communicate information and ideas orally and in writing
Able to prioritize, organize and accomplish assigned work
Able to work independently and as a team
Able to recognize problems and resolve them
Able to take direction courteously and helpfully
Able to learn operation of food service equipment
Awareness of district policies and requirements

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Experience in school food service operations preferred but not required
Completion of Short Food Course I offered by Department of Education required
Knowledge of basic school food service and sanitation preferred
Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Able to prioritize and organize work
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Able to recognize problems and take appropriate actions
Ability to learn operation of food service equipment
Aware of district policies and requirements
