Job Requirements
- One year of previous food service experience preferred
- Ability to work varied part-time schedule including open availability
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to perform cleaning and stocking duties
- Basic math skills for cashiering
- Ability to operate POS system
- Must comply with drug-free workplace policies
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least one year of food service experience preferred
- Ability to operate POS system
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
Job Duties
- Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts
- Assist in preparing catering orders
- Perform cashier duties using the POS system
- Perform general cleaning duties including removing trash and garbage to designated areas
- Provide service in all retail areas including cashiering and line serving
- Cashier according to established procedures maintaining cash accuracy with receipts
- Make deposits at the end of each shift
- Inventory and restock supplies and food products
- Set up serving line ensuring food temperatures are taken, recorded and within acceptable ranges
- Serve hot and cold items to customers
- Keep refrigerator stocked and rotate products using the first in, first out rule
- Stock pantries with correct par levels of food items on a daily basis
- Record replenished amounts and refrigerator temperatures on floor stock forms
- Perform other duties as assigned
