Job Requirements
- Prior cash handling experience preferred
- Ability to work full-time or part-time with flexible scheduling
- Availability to work nights and weekends
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to food service
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to follow food safety protocols
- Reliable and punctual
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior cash handling experience preferred
- Experience in food service or hospitality is a plus
- Ability to operate Point of Sale systems
- Basic food safety knowledge
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Job Duties
- Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts
- Help prepare catering orders
- Perform cashier duties using the POS system
- Perform general cleaning duties including removing trash and garbage
- Provide service in all retail areas including cashiering and line serving
- Cashiers according to established procedures maintaining cash accuracy with receipts and making deposits at the end of each shift
- Inventory and restock supplies and food products
- Set up serving line ensuring temperatures are taken, recorded, and within acceptable ranges
- Notify cooks if food temperatures are not within acceptable limits
- Serve hot and cold items to customers
- Set up items for purchase daily
- Keep refrigerator stocked and product rotated using the first in, first out rule
- Stock pantries with correct par levels of food items daily
- Record replenished amounts on floor stock form for each unit
- Record refrigerator temperatures on floor stock form daily
- Perform other duties as assigned
