Job Requirements

  • Prior cash handling experience preferred
  • Ability to work full-time or part-time with flexible scheduling
  • Availability to work nights and weekends
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to food service
  • Basic math skills for cash handling
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to follow food safety protocols
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior cash handling experience preferred
  • Experience in food service or hospitality is a plus
  • Ability to operate Point of Sale systems
  • Basic food safety knowledge
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts
  • Help prepare catering orders
  • Perform cashier duties using the POS system
  • Perform general cleaning duties including removing trash and garbage
  • Provide service in all retail areas including cashiering and line serving
  • Cashiers according to established procedures maintaining cash accuracy with receipts and making deposits at the end of each shift
  • Inventory and restock supplies and food products
  • Set up serving line ensuring temperatures are taken, recorded, and within acceptable ranges
  • Notify cooks if food temperatures are not within acceptable limits
  • Serve hot and cold items to customers
  • Set up items for purchase daily
  • Keep refrigerator stocked and product rotated using the first in, first out rule
  • Stock pantries with correct par levels of food items daily
  • Record replenished amounts on floor stock form for each unit
  • Record refrigerator temperatures on floor stock form daily
  • Perform other duties as assigned
