Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Cashier experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Availability to work full-time
  • Compliance with drug-free workplace policy

Job Qualifications

  • Previous cashier experience preferred
  • Ability to operate point of sale system
  • Basic food handling and preparation knowledge
  • Skills in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation
  • Attention to detail in cash handling and inventory management
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to follow food safety standards and protocols
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Operates point of sale system
  • Assists the chef with food preparation including meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts
  • Performs cashier duties with accuracy and according to established procedures
  • Performs general cleaning duties including trash and garbage removal
  • Provides service in all retail areas including cashiering and line serving
  • Inventories and restocks supplies and food products
  • Sets up serving line ensuring food temperatures are recorded and within acceptable ranges
  • Serves hot and cold items to customers
  • Sets up items for purchase daily
  • Keeps refrigerator stocked and rotates products using first in, first out rule
  • Records refrigerator temperatures and replenished amounts on floor stock form
  • Performs other duties as assigned
