Job Requirements

  • Food service and cashier experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to operate POS system
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to food service and cleaning
  • Available to work part-time with varying days and hours
  • Ability to maintain cash accuracy and follow established procedures
  • Must be able to adhere to food safety protocols
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food service or cashier roles is helpful but not required
  • Ability to operate point of sale (POS) systems
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and making deposits

Job Duties

  • Helps prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts
  • Helps prepare catering orders
  • Performs cashier duties using the POS system
  • Performs general cleaning duties including trash removal
  • Provides service in all retail areas including cashiering and line serving
  • Cashiers according to established procedures and maintains cash accuracy with receipts
  • Makes deposits at the end of each shift
  • Inventories and restocks supplies and food products
  • Sets up serving line ensuring temperatures are taken, recorded and within acceptable ranges
  • Notifies cooks if food temperatures are not within limits
  • Serves hot and cold items to customers
  • Sets up items for purchase on a daily basis
  • Keeps refrigerators stocked and rotates product using first in, first out rule
  • Stocks pantries with correct par levels of food items daily
  • Records replenished amounts and refrigerator temperatures on floor stock form daily
  • Performs other duties as assigned
