Job Requirements
- Food service and cashier experience preferred but not required
- Ability to operate POS system
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to food service and cleaning
- Available to work part-time with varying days and hours
- Ability to maintain cash accuracy and follow established procedures
- Must be able to adhere to food safety protocols
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or cashier roles is helpful but not required
- Ability to operate point of sale (POS) systems
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making deposits
Job Duties
- Helps prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts
- Helps prepare catering orders
- Performs cashier duties using the POS system
- Performs general cleaning duties including trash removal
- Provides service in all retail areas including cashiering and line serving
- Cashiers according to established procedures and maintains cash accuracy with receipts
- Makes deposits at the end of each shift
- Inventories and restocks supplies and food products
- Sets up serving line ensuring temperatures are taken, recorded and within acceptable ranges
- Notifies cooks if food temperatures are not within limits
- Serves hot and cold items to customers
- Sets up items for purchase on a daily basis
- Keeps refrigerators stocked and rotates product using first in, first out rule
- Stocks pantries with correct par levels of food items daily
- Records replenished amounts and refrigerator temperatures on floor stock form daily
- Performs other duties as assigned
