The position being offered is for a part-time Cashier/Food Service Worker within the Cheektowaga-Maryvale Union Free Schools, under Sodexo’s management. The role pays $16.00 per hour and involves working weekdays with morning, afternoon, or evening shifts – specific schedules will be discussed during the interview process. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with customers and thrive in a team-oriented environment.

As a Cashier/Food Service Worker at Sodexo, the primary responsibility is to ensure that customers receive a warm and welcoming experience. You will operate cash registers and process cash and credit transactions efficiently while maintaining a customer-first approach. Beyond handling transactions, you will assist in the preparation and serving of food items from counters and steam tables. Support roles in maintaining retail operations are also involved, including setting up supplies, ensuring product availability, and assisting with cleanup and closing activities.
