At the University of Illinois Chicago campus, SodexoMagic is currently seeking dedicated individuals for the position of Cashier/Food Service Worker. This role is available both as full-time and part-time employment, with the pay set at $18.40 per hour. Shifts vary and cover diverse days and hours, with a preference for candidates who have open availability to meet the demands of the operation. The Cashier/Food Service Worker is a customer-facing role vital to ensuring a welcoming and efficient food service experience on the University of Illinois Chicago campus. As a Cashier/Food Service Worker, you will be the warm welcomer and smile maker for our customers, responsible for operating the cash register and completing transactions with a customer-first approach. Your duties will involve handling cash and credit transactions efficiently and accurately while providing friendly service that cultivates a positive environment not only for customers but also for team members. In addition, you will assist in the setup and serving of food from counters and steam tables, support retail operations by maintaining supplies and product presentation, and help with cleanup and closedown procedures.
