This full-time Cashier/Food Service Worker position is located at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital-St. Charles and offers an hourly wage between $15.00 and $15.75. The role involves operating cash registers and managing food service operations while maintaining a customer-first approach. The ideal candidate will be a warm and welcoming individual, ready to assist with food setup, serving, and retail support activities. This position requires handling cash and credit transactions efficiently, assisting with maintaining supplies and product availability, and performing cleaning and closedown duties. Job Requirements

  • Ability to work varying shifts days and hours with open availability preferred
  • Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • Ability to assist with food setup serving and retail operations
  • Commitment to attend work on scheduled shifts with punctuality
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented and adaptable environment

Job Qualifications

  • Team-oriented adaptable reliable excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work varying shifts including days and hours with open availability preferred
  • Basic math skills for cash handling
  • Customer service experience preferred but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Work in the food service operation handling cash and credit transactions from Sodexo and client customers
  • Assist in setup and serving of food from counters and steam tables
  • Provide support to the retail operation including setup maintaining supplies and products and assisting in cleanup and closedown
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
