The University of Alabama at Birmingham, in partnership with Sodexo, is seeking a dedicated full-time Cashier/Food Service Worker to join their vibrant food service operation. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers, embodying the Sodexo commitment to customer-first service. Working primarily morning shifts on varying days, this position offers an hourly wage ranging between $11.09 and $15.01, reflecting experience and skill level. The Cashier/Food Service Worker will operate cash registers efficiently, ensuring accurate cash and credit transactions for Sodexo and university clients. Additionally, the role involves assisting in the setup and service of food items from counters and steam tables, supporting the retail operation by maintaining supplies, aiding in cleanup, and ensuring smooth closedown procedures.
