We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Cashier/Food Runner to join our team. This multifaceted role is essential to the smooth operation of our restaurant, as it involves both front-of-house customer service and assisting in food delivery. The successful candidate will process customer transactions efficiently using our point-of-sale system, ensuring accuracy and speed to enhance the guest experience. Additionally, they will be responsible for delivering food and beverages promptly to tables, maintaining attention to every detail to meet our high standards. This position also involves greeting and seating customers, providing menus, and addressing any inquiries or special requests they may have, making the role central to creating a welcoming atmosphere.

The Cashier/Food Runner will work closely with the kitchen staff to communicate customer orders and special instructions, facilitating seamless service flow between the front and back of the house. Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the dining area and cashier station is also a key part of the role. We value individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. Physical stamina is necessary to manage standing for long periods and carrying trays efficiently. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a restaurant or customer service role preferred
  • exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor
  • strong multitasking abilities and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately
  • ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • proficiency in using point-of-sale systems or willingness to learn quickly
  • physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays of food and beverages

Job Duties
