Job Description
Southern Hills Country Club is a prestigious private club renowned for its outstanding golf facilities, exquisite dining experiences, and exceptional member services. Nestled in a beautiful location, the club combines an inviting atmosphere with a commitment to excellence, making it a cherished destination for its members and their guests. The club strives to maintain the highest standards in all aspects of service, including food and beverage operations, ensuring every visitor enjoys a memorable experience marked by warmth and professionalism.
The role of Cashier/Food Runner at Southern Hills Country Club is a vital part of the Snug Harbor front of house food and beverage team. This position focuses on delivering the club's unique standard of exceptional service and warm hospitality. Cashiers/Food Runners play a dual role; they take food orders from members at the counter and efficiently deliver prepared food orders from the kitchen to the tables. This job ensures seamless service flow and supports a pleasant dining experience for members and guests.
This is a part-time role, estimated at 24 hours per week, ideal for candidates seeking flexible employment with an open availability to work a minimum of three days per week. Due to the nature of the club's busy hours and member demand, evening and weekend shifts are a requirement for all staff members. The role pays $18 per hour, and it is important to note that cashiers and food runners are not eligible for gratuity.
The position demands physical stamina, including constant standing or walking, frequent crouching, reaching, grasping objects, and occasionally lifting or carrying weights between 35 to 50 pounds. While previous food and beverage hospitality experience is helpful, it is not a prerequisite, making this an accessible opportunity for motivated individuals eager to work in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
Working at Southern Hills Country Club provides an opportunity to be part of a respected team dedicated to upholding a tradition of quality service and hospitality. Candidates will enjoy a collaborative work environment where attention to detail and member satisfaction are prioritized. This role is perfect for energetic individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and value delivering outstanding customer service that reflects the club’s distinguished reputation.
