Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk 6-8 hours per day
- Ability to use hand motions such as single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
- Capability for bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching motions
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- Tolerance for working in temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in wet and cold environments
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to use tools and equipment including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other machinery
- Possible requirement to use ladders
- No prior retail experience required
- Must adhere to all store team and safety procedures.

Job Duties
- Check out customer groceries efficiently and accurately
- Uphold government regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation
- Follow proper check, ATM, and credit procedures
- Use proper tares procedures when ringing up scalable items
- Clean and stock Front End areas including own register, changing tapes and ribbons as necessary
- Follow all cash handling procedures and meet or exceed regional cashier variance policy
- Assist with training of new Cashier and Cashier Assistant Team Members
- Help control customer flow and reduce waiting time
- Participate proactively in company programs
- Arrive on time and ready to work all scheduled shifts
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs promptly
- Maximize sales potential through proper product handling and merchandising
- Comply with health, sanitation, and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work and shopping environment
- Perform assigned opening, mid, and closing duties
- Report safety hazards and violations immediately
- May perform shopper tasks and training as assigned.
