Job Requirements
- No prior retail experience required
- must be able to lift 50 pounds
- standing and walking for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
- ability to use hand functions including grasping and manipulation
- able to bend, twist, squat, and reach
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- work in temperatures ranging from -32 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit and above 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- ability to work in wet and cold environments
- flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to use tools and equipment such as box cutters and electric pallet jacks
- may require ladder use

Job Duties
- Provides support as a member of the Customer Service & E-Commerce team
- assists customers during check-out
- performs all cash register functions
- bags groceries
- works at the customer service desk
- maintains attractive customer service displays
- ensures positive company image by providing courteous and friendly service
- performs duties according to Standard Operating Procedures
- performs assigned shopper tasks within the Customer Service & E-Commerce team
- upholds regulations concerning sale of alcohol and taxation
- follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures
- uses proper tares procedures for scalable items
- cleans and stocks front end areas
- follows all cash handling procedures
- assists with training new cashiers
- controls customer flow and backed-up lines
- participates in company programs
- arrives to workstation on time and properly prepared
- provides excellent customer service and models suggestive selling
- maximizes sales through proper product handling
- complies with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- maintains clean and sanitary work environment
- performs opening, mid, and closing duties
- reports safety hazards and violations
- performs other duties as assigned
- completes shopper training and tasks if assigned
