Job Requirements

have and show an outgoing and friendly behavior, a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customers
ability to operate front end equipment
register, calculator, scanner
be dependable and reliable having the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes including nights, weekends and holidays
have good communication skills
the ability to take direction/constructive criticism and participate in a team environment
be able to perform repetitious activities, and have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
ability to lift 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis
must have strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills

Job Qualifications

basic math and computer skills
experience as a cashier is desirable
customer service experience desirable
ability to handle a high volume of transactions
polite and courteous
strong communication skills

Job Duties

delivers the highest level of customer service through effective problem solving
ensures that all cash handling procedures are done in accordance to policy and procedure
completes transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers
flexible and willing to cross-train and work in other areas of the store as needed
directs or assists customers to the location of where product is located
solicits sale of new or additional services or products
attends all team meetings and training sessions as required
