Job Description

Raising Cane's is a leading fast-food restaurant chain specializing in high-quality chicken finger meals, known for its unique menu and exceptional customer service. Established with a focus on a simple menu and rapid service, Raising Cane's has grown into a popular and beloved brand in the fast food industry. The company prides itself on fostering a fun and inclusive work environment where team members are valued and given ample opportunities to grow. With competitive pay starting at $21.50 per hour, Raising Cane's is committed to providing its employees with rewarding careers and benefits that support their well-being and development.

The role of a Restaurant Crewmember at Raising Cane's involves wearing many hats and engaging with both customers and team members in a dynamic fast-paced setting. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking to start or build a career in the restaurant or service industry, as no prior experience is required. Newly hired crewmembers receive paid training designed to prepare them comprehensively for their job duties and future opportunities within the company. Working all shifts, including openings, closings, and everything in between, Crewmembers play a vital role in executing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting fellow team members.

Within the first year of employment, Crewmembers have the potential to earn up to an additional $1.50 per hour through ongoing training, certifications, and performance evaluations, highlighting Raising Cane's commitment to recognizing and rewarding hard work and dedication. Employees are encouraged to develop essential skills such as teamwork, communication, responsibility, and attention to detail, all within a culture that balances working hard with having fun. Raising Cane's also takes pride in being a company that values authenticity, dependability, and pride in a job well done.

This position requires physical stamina to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds and the ability to perform a variety of movements such as kneeling, bending, twisting, and climbing stairs. Crewmembers must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be punctual for their scheduled shifts. Maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant, efficiently taking customer orders and processing payments, following food safety procedures, and multitasking effectively are key components of the role. Raising Cane's strongly values teamwork and expects crewmembers to assist one another and collaborate to uphold high service standards.

Beyond the essential functions, Raising Cane's offers numerous benefits to hourly crew members. These include access to voluntary benefits through an insurance marketplace—covering medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance—as well as short-term disability, hospital indemnity, legal insurance, and identity theft protection. Employees can also take advantage of perks such as a gym membership program, 401(k) with employer matching for those 21 and older, financial advisement for budgeting and retirement, a crewmember assistance program, education assistance, and even pet insurance.

Further enhancing the work experience, Raising Cane's provides paid time off, closures on major holidays, early company event closures, casual work attire, flexible scheduling, and an employee discount program. While some benefits may vary by location and require minimum hours, these offerings demonstrate Raising Cane's dedication to creating a supportive and enjoyable workplace for its hourly crew.

Joining Raising Cane's as a Restaurant Crewmember is more than just a job—it's an opportunity to be part of a vibrant culture that values individuality, hard work, and having fun. Whether you bring previous experience in customer service, retail, or any service-oriented role, or you're looking to begin your career journey, Raising Cane's welcomes you to apply and grow with the team.
