Job Requirements
- Cashier or retail sales clerk experience preferred but not required
- Prior restaurant or cafe experience preferred
- Ability to operate cash register and basic cashiering skills
- Must be able to pass a food safety course
- Strong judgment and customer service skills
- Ability to work part-time hours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Capable of passing a food safety course
- Prior experience in cashiering or retail sales preferred but not required
- Prior restaurant or cafe experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Operate all cafe equipment and sell food and beverages complying with all health dept standards
- Pass a food safety course
- Accurately operate a cash register complying with all policies and procedures
- Balance cash drawer ensuring accurate compilation of daily cash reports
- Assist in setting up all merchandise including textbooks and general merchandise
- Maintain general cleanliness of workstations
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
