Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior cashiering or food service experience preferred
ability to handle cash transactions accurately
strong customer service orientation
ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards
effective communication skills
availability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

knowledge of cash handling procedures
ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
good communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work in fast-paced environments

Job Duties

Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion
enters all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded
makes change, accepts declining balance cards and other forms of payment
issues receipts to customers
follows standard procedures for issuing cash refunds
interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring drawer compliance
observes customer purchases and differentiates standard portions
replenishes condiments, coffee, beverages, and supplies
keeps pastry case stocked
ensures compliance with company service, inventory, cash control, sanitation, ServSafe and safety standards
performs other assigned duties
