Job Requirements

No previous experience required
high school diploma or equivalent preferred
ability to work Monday through Friday from 11:30 am to 1:45 pm
ability to perform cashier duties including cash handling and register operation
ability to follow company policies and procedures
ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards
ability to interact courteously with customers
ability to perform physical tasks as needed
legal authorization to work in the United States

ability to handle cash accurately

Job Duties

Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion
enters all sales into the cash register
makes change, accepts declining balance cards and other forms of payment
issues receipts to customers
follows standard procedures for issuing cash refunds
interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a friendly manner
responsible for assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring cash drawer compliance
observes customer purchases and differentiates standard portions
replenishes condiments, coffee, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness
keeps pastry case stocked
ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures
ensures compliance with sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements
performs other duties as assigned
