Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to move frequently and handle physical tasks including lifting up to 30 pounds
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliability with regular, predictable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Basic math skills preferred
- Prior cashier or sales experience preferred
Job Duties
- Process member purchases including verifying, renewing, and upgrading memberships
- Scan merchandise and handle point-of-sale transactions
- Accept various payment methods including cash and check
- Provide high-level customer service and resolve member concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-line department
- Assist members at self-checkout and scan and pan lanes
- Support and uphold BJ's club policies and procedures
