Cashier - Part Time

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Cashiers, also referred to internally as Front End Team Members. This role is essential in delivering a positive shopping experience by offering fast and friendly customer service. You will be the face of the store, greeting customers, assisting with their inquiries, processing transactions accurately, and promoting our loyalty program. These responsibilities require strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail to meet customer needs effectively.

The Cashier position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, with a pay range of $14.31 to $20.03 per hour depending on experience and location. Seasonal positions may also be available, lasting up to six months with the option to apply for non-seasonal roles. In addition to operating the cash register and handling payments, team members may also take on other roles such as sales assistant, merchandiser, or stock associate.

Key duties include verifying customer identification for alcohol purchases, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of promotions and product offerings, and ensuring the store environment is clean and safe. The role also involves participation in ongoing training programs covering products like wine, spirits, and beer to enhance product knowledge and compliance. Employees must adhere to all applicable laws regarding the sale of alcohol to maintain a safe shopping environment for all.

This position is physically demanding and requires standing for long periods, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly, and occasionally working outdoors in various weather conditions. Candidates must be at least 21 years old to comply with legal requirements concerning alcohol sales.
