The role of Cashier, internally referred to as Front End Team Member, is a pivotal position within our store operations. You will serve as the first point of contact for customers, responsible for processing sales efficiently and accurately while delivering exceptional, personalized service. This role requires keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. In addition to handling transactions, a Cashier is expected to engage customers, promote loyalty programs, and contribute to maintaining a safe and clean store environment. This role also offers dynamic exposure to sales assistant and merchandising duties, providing a comprehensive retail experience. Candidates will undergo training in wine, spirits, and beer products to enhance their knowledge and improve customer interactions. Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for evenings and weekends, is essential to meet business demands. Successful applicants will work closely with the store management team and have opportunities to transition from seasonal to non-seasonal employment if applicable. Job Requirements

must be 21 years of age or older
walk bend down repeatedly and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day
climb ladders and lift 50 lbs overhead and repeatedly
may be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday
ability to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
high school diploma or equivalent preferred
1-3 years of work experience 1+ years in retail preferred

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

process sales transactions accurately and efficiently including identification verification payment handling answering inquiries promoting loyalty program and bagging product
deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers engaging to build relationships and informing about products and services
participate in wine spirits and beer training to build product knowledge
maintain knowledge of advertisements promotions and loyalty programs
maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store
ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment
complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned
