The role demands strong communication skills, both verbal and written, alongside effective problem-solving abilities. Associates are expected to be teachable, showing eagerness to learn and adapt to ongoing changes within the retail landscape. Flexibility is essential as schedules may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, averaging 15-25 hours per week with a minimum requirement of two weekends monthly. This part-time employment opportunity offers a supportive work culture and a chance to join a company that actively promotes individual growth and recognizes team accomplishments.

SCHEELS values employees who demonstrate pride and ownership in their work, consistently striving for continuous improvement. The organization fosters an environment where associates treat co-workers, customers, and business partners with genuine respect and appreciation. Employees are encouraged to develop expertise in their roles through ongoing training and are expected to support their peers, contributing to a positive, collaborative workplace. Safety is a priority at SCHEELS, with an emphasis on following procedures to minimize risk of injury.

Overall, a Sales Associate position at SCHEELS presents an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about sports, fitness, and retail to build a fulfilling career.
