Job Duties

  • Processes customer sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Micros point-of-sale system
  • Handles cash and debit payments, counts and maintains the opening cash float, reconciles transactions at shift end, deposits cash according to policies, addresses discrepancies with supervisor
  • Restocks food and beverage products, ensures beverage stations are clean, stocked and set up for service, prepares oatmeal and toppings station, replenishes condiments and grab-and-go snacks
  • Performs general cleaning duties including sweeping floors, addressing spills, cleaning and sanitizing self-serve equipment and food display areas
  • Provides excellent customer service with a positive and professional attitude, assists with inquiries or special requests, enforces store policies and monitors for potential theft
  • Ensures the safety of guests, staff, and facility by following safety procedures, using equipment and signage, identifying hazards and reporting concerns
  • Provides hands-on guidance with Micros system, restocking and cleaning tasks, communicates questions or concerns to supervisor
  • Trains casual staff and supports smooth daily operations
