Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean uniform
  • maintain a safe, clean, and organized workstation
  • support and assist fellow team members whenever possible
  • maintain sanitary standards
  • count cash drawer at beginning and end of shift
  • greet guests
  • take food and beverage orders
  • expedite food orders in some cases
  • ring guest orders into cash register or POS system
  • properly charge guests and collect payments
  • process credit and debit card transactions
  • answer phone and take phone orders
  • interact with customers in a friendly and efficient manner
  • stock display refrigerators, salad bar, and steam table accurately and efficiently
  • maintain hot or cold temperature conditions as per standards
  • maintain appropriate portion control
  • clean equipment thoroughly and timely
  • keep floor in work or service area clean and free of debris
  • complete shift work timely and thoroughly according to department standards
