Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the state of work or commutable distance
- One month related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to understand and communicate parking rates and procedures
- Ability to provide friendly and professional guest service
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
- Willingness to work morning and weekend shifts
- Availability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely and cautiously
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read, write and comprehend standard English
- Ability to present information effectively to guests, clients and employees
- Ability to perform basic math operations using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Valid driver’s license for the applicable state or within a commutable distance
- Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with professional and friendly demeanor
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and main attractions
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue and collect claim checks following protocol
- Maintain accurate ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect parking revenue when needed
- Consistently complete location on all key tags after parking vehicles
