This specific Golden Corral franchise is currently seeking energetic, friendly individuals to join their team as Cashier/Hosts. Maintaining cleanliness and organization at the vestibule, host/cashier station, and surrounding areas is a critical function of this role. The Cashier/Host may also assist with buffet setup, ensuring correct labeling and cleanliness, complying with local health department regulations. Adhering to the duty roster to meet cleanliness, service, and quality standards is vital to maintaining the restaurant's overall guest satisfaction.

Operational excellence is also emphasized, requiring the Cashier/Host to communicate with management regarding cash handling to minimize risks, such as robbery, and ensure the cash drawer balances with daily paperwork. This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $10.00 to $15.00, reflecting compensation for the vital responsibilities undertaken.

Job Duties

  • Greet guests as they enter the restaurant and offer a sincere, personal invitation to return as guests leave
  • offer assistance to any guests who may need help
  • process Golden Corral On the Go to-go orders
  • be friendly and courteous on the phone
  • handle payments accurately
  • know and follow position responsibilities as they relate to just-in-time delivery
  • know what is on buffet for the day and have full knowledge of menu and prices
  • maintain organization and cleanliness at the vestibule, host/cashier station and surrounding areas
  • help ensure the buffet is set up properly and labels are correct
  • clean all buffets and surrounding areas
  • follow local health department laws
  • perform duty roster and ensure cleanliness, service, and quality standards are met
  • inform the manager when the money in the drawer needs to be taken to the safe
  • ensure drawer balances with daily paperwork
