The Cashier / Host role at Happy Lamb Hot Pot is an essential front-of-house position that serves as the first and last point of contact for guests. Responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, managing seating arrangements including waitlists and reservations, and processing various payment methods such as cash, credit cards, and digital transactions accurately. In addition to handling payments, the Cashier / Host also addresses guest inquiries about the menu and restaurant policies, facilitating a seamless dining experience.
Collaboration with servers and kitchen staff is integral to the role, helping to synchronize service flow and accommodate special requests like takeout and delivery orders. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a restaurant, cashier, or customer service role preferred
- Experience with POS systems is a plus, but training will be provided
- Experience in a fast-paced environment is helpful
- Authorization to work in the United States
