Job Requirements

Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
Ability to operate POS system
Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while using appropriate equipment and safety techniques
Open availability for full-time associates
Part-time flex associates must be available for a minimum of two different weekend days and two weekdays
Ability to articulate sales goals and demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking
Commitment to upholding company policies and fostering a respectful workplace environment

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
1-2 years of experience in a customer service role
Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to operate POS system
Proven ability to exceed sales goals
Demonstrated passion for building lasting customer relationships
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Job Duties

Consistently keep the store energy lively and upbeat for customers and your teammates
Engage multiple clients at the cash wrap and create a positive, lasting impression by offering personalized service
Accurately and efficiently perform register/POS transactions, sales, returns, exchanges, etc.
Ensure accurate ringing and pricing of merchandise, using appropriate price overrides when necessary
Manage all aspects of customer expectations, including clear communication about product information, care, maintenance, timeframes, and delivery
Affirm client purchases and offer additional merchandise suggestions to complement and complete initial selections
Ensure client awareness of all promotions that may impact sales
Share information and testimonials about product, in-store events, and workshops to enhance customer experience
Maintain visual standards and supplies of the cash wrap area
Maximize resources to fulfill customer needs and resolve any issues
Perform other duties as assigned by management, comply with company policies and procedures
Foster an environment where all associates are treated fairly, with dignity and respect, aligned with the People-First Philosophy
