Job Requirements
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
- Ability to operate POS system
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while using appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- Open availability for full-time associates
- Part-time flex associates must be available for a minimum of two different weekend days and two weekdays
- Ability to articulate sales goals and demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking
- Commitment to upholding company policies and fostering a respectful workplace environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to operate POS system
- Proven ability to exceed sales goals
- Demonstrated passion for building lasting customer relationships
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Job Duties
- Consistently keep the store energy lively and upbeat for customers and your teammates
- Engage multiple clients at the cash wrap and create a positive, lasting impression by offering personalized service
- Accurately and efficiently perform register/POS transactions, sales, returns, exchanges, etc.
- Ensure accurate ringing and pricing of merchandise, using appropriate price overrides when necessary
- Manage all aspects of customer expectations, including clear communication about product information, care, maintenance, timeframes, and delivery
- Affirm client purchases and offer additional merchandise suggestions to complement and complete initial selections
- Ensure client awareness of all promotions that may impact sales
- Share information and testimonials about product, in-store events, and workshops to enhance customer experience
- Maintain visual standards and supplies of the cash wrap area
- Maximize resources to fulfill customer needs and resolve any issues
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, comply with company policies and procedures
- Foster an environment where all associates are treated fairly, with dignity and respect, aligned with the People-First Philosophy
