Job Requirements
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods
- Ability to operate POS system
- Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 75 pounds with proper safety techniques
- Open availability for full-time associates
- Part-time flex associates must be available for at least two weekend shifts on separate days and two weekday shifts
- Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours weekly with greater availability preferred
- Commitment to company policies and People First philosophy
- Strong customer focus and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple customer interactions effectively
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service
- Proven ability to exceed sales goals
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
- Demonstrated success in team collaboration and independent work
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Familiarity with product care and maintenance
Job Duties
- Keep the store energy lively and upbeat for customers and teammates
- Engage multiple clients at the cash wrap and offer personalized service
- Accurately and efficiently perform register and POS transactions including sales, returns, and exchanges
- Ensure accurate ringing and pricing of merchandise, using price overrides when necessary
- Manage customer expectations by communicating product information, care, maintenance, timeframes, and delivery
- Affirm purchases and suggest additional merchandise to complement selections
- Ensure awareness of all promotions affecting sales
- Share information and testimonials about products, events, and workshops
- Maintain visual standards and supplies in the cash wrap area
- Maximize resources to fulfill customer needs and resolve issues
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Foster an inclusive environment treating associates fairly and respectfully
