Job Qualifications

Ability to maintain a professional appearance
Strong initiative and teamwork skills

Job Duties

Greet all customers when entering and exiting the store
Promote the Scheels Visa Rewards card and be able to clearly explain all benefits
Accurately balance cash drawer at the end of the day
Maintain a clean working environment and personal work space
Engage in conversation with the customer to add a personal touch to each and every transaction
End each transaction by saying thank you to every customer
Maintain a professional appearance on the sales floor
Contribute to a work environment that fosters pride in being part of a winning team and promotes personal growth
Perform basic math including computing rate, ratio and percent
Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
Write simple correspondence
Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
Demonstrate strong communication, organization, attention to detail and problem solving skills
Show strong initiative and vision for continuous improvement
Exercise judgment and tact when working with customers or co workers
Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with all levels of the organization
Work assigned schedules including varied hours, evenings, weekends and holidays
