Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in barista or food service preferred
ability to work full time Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
ability to perform cashiering duties including handling cash transactions
compliance with sanitation and safety standards
ability to maintain cash drawer and perform cash reports
must be able to work in an educational facility
ability to handle customer interactions and complaints professionally

Job Qualifications

Previous barista or food service experience preferred
ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
basic math skills for cash handling
knowledge of cash register operation
understanding of sanitation and safety standards
ability to maintain cleanliness in service areas
effective communication skills
reliability and punctuality

Job Duties

Perform sales transactions in a timely fashion
enter all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded
make change and accept declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment
issue receipts to customers
follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds
interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
maintain compliance with cash drawer overage/shortage standards
replenish condiments, coffee, other beverages and supplies while keeping service areas clean
stock pastry case
ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures
adhere to all sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements
perform other duties as assigned
