Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous cashier experience preferred
- availability to work full or part time including weekdays and weekends
- ability to stand for extended periods

- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- willingness to comply with all safety and sanitation requirements

Job Duties
- perform sales transactions in a timely fashion
- enter all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded
- make change, accept declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment
- issue receipts to customers
- follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds
- interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- manage all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring cash drawer compliance with overage/shortage standards
- observe customer purchases in the cafe line and differentiate between standard portions
- replenish condiments, coffee, other beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas
- keep pastry case stocked
- ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures
- ensure compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements
- perform other duties as assigned
