Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work flexible schedule including mornings, days, evenings, and weekends
  • Must communicate schedule constraints prior to employment
  • Ability to serve alcohol responsibly and follow age verification policies
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow safety procedures
  • Good personal hygiene and clean uniform
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong personal organization skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties

  • Welcome all guests in a positive manner
  • Correctly take orders following Chook's standards of service
  • Confidently describe Chook's story and menu items to guests
  • Assist guests with beverage needs during their visit
  • Serve alcohol only to guests over 21 and follow identification policy
  • Maintain a clean work station and restaurant during shift
  • Perform pre-shift, ongoing, and end of shift side work duties
  • Fill in any necessary role during the shift
  • Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, restrooms, and kid's areas
  • Clear food and drinks for guests and refresh non-alcoholic beverages
  • Polish glassware for beverage service
  • Ask questions and request help when necessary
  • Follow all safety procedures
  • Arrive on time in clean uniform with good personal hygiene
