Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three months experience in food and beverage or related field
- Must obtain and maintain Serv-Safe certificate
- Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

- Other combinations of education and experience may be considered
- Must obtain and maintain Serv-Safe certificate
- Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of menu items and guest service
Job Duties
- Greets guests on arrival and regards on departure in a warm and inviting manner
- Checks cashier supplies such as register tape and settlement sheets and brown upon arrival to ensure there is enough for the shift
- Prepares and sells all food items on the menu and handles all monetary transactions such as cash, checks, credit/debit cards, and comps from guests as payment
- Ensures accuracy in computing bill on cash register
- makes correct change and issues receipt
- Closes register at end of each shift to include counting down drawer and completing necessary paperwork
- Returns cash to the main bank, leaves a copy of shift checkout in the Restaurant Mailbox
- Cleans and sanitizes food service equipment used to prepare and serve menu items
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of daily menus and prices
- Conducts opening and closing inventories
- Interacts with guests to maintain great guest relations and provide opportunities for loyalty
- Ensures and maintains cleanliness and orderliness of workstation
- Performs other related duties as assigned
