Job Requirements
- Must be eighteen years of age
- must successfully pass background check
- must successfully pass drug screening
- must obtain and maintain all licenses and certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations
- ability to perform basic mathematical skills
- ability to present an image of excitement and professionalism
- ability to restock needed materials and retrieve dropped items
- knowledge of customer service principles
- related education and experience equivalent to two months of on-the-job training
Job Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests
- ability to use a cash register and handle various denominations of currency
- ability to read ticket totals, total credit vouchers, and log checks
- ability to use machines and equipment including cash register system, credit card machines, and calculator
- flexibility to work varying shifts and time schedules
- professional appearance and outgoing personality
Job Duties
- Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to choose Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain for gaming entertainment
- actively builds and retains guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members
- provides information on all Hard Rock services and facilities to guests
- quotes accurate waiting times and handles waiting guests per service standards
- maintains accurate cash balance and handles money securely
- maintains dining room cleanliness including bussing tables and sweeping floors
- attends and participates in meetings and completes follow-up tasks
- performs work regularly and predictably
- retrieves warehouse orders as needed
- other duties as assigned
