Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment has firmly established itself as a top choice for family entertainment nationwide.
Chuck E. Cheese is famous for celebrating over half a million birthdays annually, offering a safe and joyful environment for kids and families to come together and create lasting memories. The company has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the "Best in STEM" award and being named one of America's Greatest Workplaces in 2025, highlighting its leadership in innovation and employee well-being.
The role offered is that of a Cashier at Chuck E. Cheese, a frontline position essential to guest service. Cashiers engage directly with guests by taking orders, processing payments, assisting with prizes, and ensuring that customers have an enjoyable experience during their visit. This position is ideal for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a rewarding career in the family entertainment industry. Cast Members are empowered through cross-training opportunities, enabling them to work in various positions and grow within the company. Remarkably, over 60% of the management team has been promoted from within, reflecting the strong commitment to career development at CEC Entertainment.
Employees enjoy competitive pay, with commission potential ranging from $0.50 to $10.00 per Membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass sold for exempt employees, and $2.00 to $8.00 per Membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass for non-exempt employees. Payments are made bi-weekly, subject to state law requirements. Additionally, Chuck E. Cheese offers a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, giving employees access to earned wages without waiting for the traditional pay cycle.
The working environment at Chuck E. Cheese is dynamic and energetic, filled with interactive games, music, and lively atmospheres. Cashiers need to be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess excellent customer service skills to thrive in this role. They must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds during their shifts, adapting to the physical demands of the position. The company also maintains rigorous health and sanitation standards to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and employees alike.
Beyond pay and working conditions, team members at CEC Entertainment benefit from flexible schedules, a 50% discount on meals during shifts, scholarships, perks and discounts programs, employee referral incentives, and support through the CEC Cares Fund designed to assist employees during personal catastrophes. The company fosters a culture of diversity and inclusion, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds and creating a workplace where every individual can contribute and grow.
