With a commitment to great hospitality, The Buttery has become a beloved destination that delights customers with thoughtfully crafted menus and a friendly atmosphere. The company embraces a collective spirit, bringing together a passionate team focused on building a thriving business through exceptional food, memorable experiences, and genuine care.
We are excited to announce an open call hiring event for our brand-new location in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Scheduled for Saturday, April 11, from 10 AM to 2 PM at 836 W Lancaster Ave, this event presents a wonderful opportunity for motivated individuals to join the opening team of this dynamic café and bakery. As we expand, we seek passionate and detail-oriented team members eager to contribute to a fast-paced, friendly, and organized work environment. Various positions are available including Front of House roles such as Barista, Counter Server, Cashier, Busser, and Food Runner, alongside Back of House roles including Lead Line Cook, Line Cook, and Dishwasher.
Specifically, the Cashier role is a crucial point of contact within the customer experience at The Buttery. As a Front of House ambassador, the Cashier warmly welcomes guests, guiding them expertly through the diverse, made-to-order food and beverage menus. This role requires thorough knowledge of our offerings, precision in managing point-of-sale transactions, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure seamless coordination between the front counter and kitchen staff. The Cashier maintains an organized and inviting environment, managing cash, card, and digital payments accurately while championing efficient service flow.
Ideal candidates thrive under pressure, excel in communication, and demonstrate a genuine passion for hospitality, love of great food and beverage, and commitment to fostering a positive customer experience. This position not only demands proficiency in payment handling and order management but also the ability to uphold The Buttery's high standards of service and contribute to a respectful, team-oriented culture. With an emphasis on career growth, The Buttery offers prospects for professional development and advancement, set in a vibrant and supportive workplace where commitment and fun go hand in hand.

Working here means engaging with a team passionate about delivering excellence, creativity, and genuine connection in every aspect of their daily work. This opportunity is ideal for those eager to grow their skills, immerse themselves in the hospitality industry, and help establish The Buttery’s newest location as a cherished neighborhood destination.
