Job Description
Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital, a facility in the Bay Area communities, is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Cashier to handle cash, credit, and other payment transactions in retail food operation areas. This role involves accurately completing transactions, providing receipts, making change, preparing cashier's reports, and depositing revenues following established Cash Handling Procedures. The Cashier will also provide support in various areas of the retail food operation.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- one year experience operating a cash register in a food service establishment or equivalent
- Food Handlers Permit accredited by TXDSHS or ANSI
- proficiency in English language
- ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and colleagues
- basic math skills
- team player with basic calculator knowledge
- knowledge of local Food Ordinances compliance.
