Job Requirements

  • Must be able to maneuver to all areas of assigned restaurant throughout entire shift
  • must be able to accurately and quickly process all cash transactions
  • must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke
  • must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations
  • must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • must be able to respond to visual and aural cues

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED required
  • 1-year experience in customer service
  • prior experience as a cashier required, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • must possess basic math skills
  • must be able to count cash drawer accurately
  • must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team
  • must present a well-groomed appearance

Job Duties

  • Conducts assigned duties according to procedures
  • greets guests quickly and courteously and fills guests' food and beverage orders
  • helps service guests as necessary in a team aspect
  • itemizes totals and presents guests with the price for payment
  • operates cash register and properly settles checks
  • enters guests' checks in cash register, takes money from customer and accurately gives back change
  • responsible for accurate control of cash drawer
  • understands variance policy of cash drawer and maintains low variance
  • knows how to ring up all transactions and all tenders
  • assists the service attendants/counter attendants/culinary areas when needed
  • records all tips collected from credit cards and comps
  • handles and solves any concerns and questions from customers
  • keeps all guest areas clean and neat
  • complies with all appearance standards
  • acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars and encourages others to do the same
  • meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies
