Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • must be able to work any day of the week and any shift
  • must possess or be willing to obtain Food Handlers card within first seven days of employment
  • ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • present a well-groomed appearance following franchise and company uniform standards
  • must be able to work inside and maneuver around work area and casino/hotel areas
  • must be able to lift and pull up to 50 pounds
  • must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist, push, pull and balance when stocking, storing and cleaning
  • must tolerate hot and high temperature environments
  • must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues
  • must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • must tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust

Job Qualifications

  • Six months previous experience in food service preferred
  • at least six months money-handling and cash register experience
  • hotel restaurant experience a plus
  • possess excellent Family Style Service and Starbucks customer experience standards
  • ability to work any day of the week and any shift
  • ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • present a well-groomed appearance following franchise and company uniform standards
  • possess or be willing to obtain Food Handlers card within first seven days of employment
  • flexibility to rotate in front line stations such as warming, store support, cashier, and barista
  • willingness to work in other food service outlets
  • willingness to work overtime if needed

Job Duties

  • Acknowledges, greets, and converses with guests as soon as they enter the store
  • consistently demonstrate Everyone Greets Everyone by greeting all guests and fellow property team members with a smile and appropriate greeting
  • be a role model in demonstrating Family Style Service to all guests and team members
  • act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture of Starbucks Guiding Principles and Harrah’s Mission, Vision, and Values
  • effectively handle difficult conversations with guests
  • prepare snacks and beverages by following the manual restaurant franchise operations
  • warm, wrap, and prepare sandwiches, pastries, and beverages following receipt orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • process cash transactions by following company policies
  • upsell products and promote Caesars and Starbucks brand
  • keep counters, tables, equipment, and cart areas clean and well stocked
  • maintain cleanliness in front and back of house including sweeping, wiping down tables, dusting, restocking supplies
  • process preparation such as cold brew, iced coffee, and vanilla sweet cream
  • practice First in First Out method when handling goods
  • log and report food and drink waste during business hours
  • follow all health and safety policies and food handling procedures
  • follow tasks based on business needs and leadership team
  • meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies
