Job Requirements

  • Ability to work full-time
  • Must be non-exempt employee
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Physical ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift as needed
  • Able to move luggage in and out of vehicles
  • Must have no arrest record within the last 10 years
  • Must pass airport security clearance
  • Must comply with company standard operating procedures
  • Ability to maintain a neat and organized work area

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry preferred
  • Experience in guest or customer service roles
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and listening abilities
  • Ability to pass airport security clearance
  • Ability to obtain a criminal history report and drug test results

Job Duties

  • Greet arriving guests, provide courteous, efficient, and enthusiastic service for valet parking requests
  • Verify the cash bank and supplies at the start of each shift
  • Issue tickets to customers and record required information
  • Collect payments via cash, credit card, or validation securing cash per company procedures
  • Process exception transactions such as lost tickets according to company policy
  • Provide correct change and issue receipts for all transactions
  • Complete daily shift paperwork accurately, including transaction counts and vehicle logs
  • Inspect vehicles and note any pre-existing damage
  • Notify guests of vehicle condition and record relevant information
  • Secure guest keys and assign designated parking locations
  • Accommodate guests requiring special assistance
  • Report security issues and help avoid traffic congestion
  • Assist guests with luggage
  • Respond to emergency situations as needed
  • Maintain a neat and tidy valet and cashier booth area
  • Quote prices for parking services upon customer request
  • Resolve guest complaints within authority and escalate when necessary
  • Notify management of unusual events or thefts
  • Promote high levels of customer service and guest satisfaction
  • Respond effectively to guest inquiries
